Bike Cult Show:
Exhibition of Hand Built Bikes in the greatest city in the country by some of the best Frame Builders in the country
24 of some of the finest hand built bicycle makers in the country will decend on the Knockdown Center to display their craft. Their work runs the gamut from traditionalist form and function to the very envelope of cutting edge technologies and style. Join us over the weekend of August 15th to the 17th at venues throughout New York City to celebrate their craft, pay homage to the past NYC based masters of the craft, and to celebrate the robust future of cycling, and small scale bicycle production in our great city. If you can cycle here, you can cycle anywhere!

Rapha Cycle Club New York is proud to host the opening evening of Bike Cult, a showcase of custom, hand-crafted bicycles from NYC and beyond. Join us Friday, August 15th for "Why Custom?" a roundtable discussion about the hows and whys of custom bicycles. Guest speakers will include frame builders Rick Jones and Johnny Coast, and custom fitter Jonathan Blyer. Beer and other light refreshments will be served.

Show is open to the public. Come to the Knockdown Center's 50,000 square foot space and see an impressive array of hand-built bicycles by our exhibitors. Food and beverage service provided by Monk's Meats, Txorizeria, and Home Frites.
10AM-12PM - City Reliquary - 370 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211
On your way to Knockdown Center, swing by the City Reliquary to see an exhibit about Dick Power, a prominent mid-century New York City frame-builder that presaged today's hand-built bicycle movement. Enjoy drinks in the museum's beautiful garden.
