Screenprint on paper 5 x 11.5
It’s easy to rely on familiar color choices, so to challenge myself and expand my palette, I made this group of prints as studies. I initially tried using ChatGPT to generate color groupings, but it didn’t hit the mark. Which was a relief. So instead, I drew inspiration from art I like. The first color set is inspired by Ugo Rondinone’s Magic Mountains, the second by a Joan Mitchell painting, and the third by a Polly Apfelbaum flower print.
