happy with this start.
the brushy background is a first.
I started to put a new ground on canvases I had painted pink. I made them too rich & dark and wanted more tour of Italy pink.
I put the first layer of gesso over top of the color . It would need a second the coat to be solid.
I was going to paint it solid white and then put a new color on top. But I left it like that and started painting. I’m excited about it
