This is the drawing on the foil plate. I don’t wanna spend too much time on it because I don’t know the technique will work.
This time I cleaned the plate with alcohol, drew on it. I want to rub it with talc, then gum Arabic then bite the plate with soda.
I paniced when I put gum arabic on the plate, it seemed so messy, like it was pulling the drawing. I cleaned the drawing off and it looked like the plate was bit with no soda.
I tried inking but it didn't work so I redrew the image and tried the whole process again. The chalk and gum arabic seemed to make a huge difference. The plate bit and inked easily with way more detail and ease.
