oh my gosh! This came out excellent. I painted on the foil with acrylic paint let it dry and then bit the plate. I couldn’t remove the acrylic although maybe I should try with denatured alcohol. It inked beautifully and the areas that I bit stayed hydrophilic and a nice and clear. I’m super happy with this. I’ve gotten the most solid my experiments. I think I was right about the oil lifting off.
