I worked on my idea with a little BMX bike. I think my drawing was reasonably accurate but I wasn’t happy with it. I just didn’t know how to get to my idea from where I was. So the thing to do was one of those mono prints that Wendy had been talking about. Where are you start by rolling and go over the whole plate and then wiping it off. I want to make a drawing where I’m planning to leave a lot of the plate in darkness. I’m using the Akua inks partly to get a dark color that’s not black and for the benefits of the ink. It looks good and is so easy and not stinky and the cleanup is so quick.
