Cycles Follis, founded in 1903 and once based on rue Danton in Lyon, was a legendary artisan builder in the French bicycle world. This sweet little road bike fits me perfectly—and Scott was kind enough to loan it to me so I could paint it.

These drawings continue my "unfinished/finished" approach. I love the rhythm of having some parts fully realized and others just suggested. It’s a satisfying way to work on my drawing—balancing detail with looseness, structure with gesture.

A place for the in-between pieces—the experiments, studies, and strays that have been kicking around the studio. These works may not have fit into a series at the time, but they’ve found their moment now.

Eddie’s bike is one of my favorite muses.
