Bob Frey was a successful Unione Sportiva Italiane club rider.
This was his racing bike for a few years.
after it was damaged in a crash
it was repaired and became his trainer.
Hence the brake and waterbottle.
It's so cool to have it in the studio
on loan from Eddie Albert

Pop Brennan Bike - Drawings

This beautiful thing is a "Pop" Brennan 6 day bike.
Built in the 1920's
John "Pop Brennan's shop was in Irvington, NJ
just a few blocks from the site of the old Newark Velodrome.
The frame was recovered from a basement of a house
who's owner was rumored to have raced in either the 1928 or '32 Olympics.
