Jen's Windsor - Reverse Silhouette Print

8x6"

i met Jen maybe 15 years ago when she came on a bike ride event my friend Petra and I used to host annually to introduce resonably fit ladies to road riding. It was a ride from the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge out to Nyack and back.  Jen is also an artist and I'm so glad she's my friend.

These screenprints were based on a drawing I did of her bike while she was out town.

Side by Side Silhouettes

7x9"

Inspired by an accident on a make ready sheet. This is the start of something. Two reverse silhouette key screens printed side by side on 7x9" Stonehenge, creating a single bold composition. The colors —snap together, forming a dynamic balance that feels strong, graphic, and immediate.

Joe's Brew Reverse Silhouette Print

8x6"

I’ve known Joe since he was a Recycle-a-Bicycle kid, and now he’s the longtime owner of Bicycle Roots—still deep in the bike world, still riding every day. I'm glad I got one of his bikes in the studio.

This sweet, sturdy track bike, built for flatland riding, became the basis for a new series of prints. The silhouettes come from drawings of his bike—bold shapes, sharp lines, and the kind of presence that feels solid, like a frame built to last.
