Color chart suite-chart, silhouette, stack. This group Of prints builds on an idea. Some thing I’ve been working with, exploring for few years. It’s inspired by the prints of Polly Apfelbaum and Damien Hirst. There’s other examples where I see spots of smooth color on a beautiful paper. This is my way of doing that. This is my take.

This idea is something I've been working with since 2008.
Layering bike silhouettes into a jumble.
It started as relief prints with the bikes cut out of rubber and applied stamp like
until I got what I wanted. Now they are screenprints.
I got through the group and add a single bike, deciding where to place it on each print.
I'm thinking about composition
watching how each bike affects the whole piece.
