Bernard's 1960 something Atala has that wonderful circusy look.
The BSA maybe my favorite muse.
Dave is fixing up this little French folder to sell.
Dave found this bike on the street, missing it's wheels, seat and pedals. Things were looking grim. He took it home, cleaned it up and assembled it. I like to imagine it could think and how relieved and grateful it would be. Dave is a superhero to the velocipeds.
Cycles Follis, founded in 1903 and previously based in 10, rue Danton, Lyon, France, was a long-established artisan manufacturer in the French bicycle industry. This cute little road bike fits me perfect! Scott was generous to loan it to me to paint. It is great to paint a vintage road bike with such cool and interesting details especially the derailliers.

this is for random stuff that pops up in the flat file.
Dave picked up this gorgeous bike at the Brooklyn Flea.
It was a diamond in the rough. Literally covered in barnacles.
I'm so glad he could see the beauty, it is a favorite muse.
I guess 1930's or 40's.
