Gingkos
This week started with a little project outside the norm
line drawings of Gingko leaves as possible tattoo designs for a client
it was fun, I love to draw and Gingkos are a favorite tree
Hope they're as pleased with the results as I am.

We got back from our wonderful family vacation Saturday night
which gave me this rare Summer Sunday off.
So Dave and I rode to Coney Island
Taking the scenic route, under the Verrazano.
At Coney
We snacked on peaches, thick potato fries and lemonade
then checked out the Art Walls
which were awesome!
After Coney we swung by Brighton Beach
and sat by the sea
before heading home
passing through Prospect Park
stopping at the drum circle
where we had sorrel drinks and cake
enjoyed the atmosphere
then wandered through Grand Army Plaza
as we made our way back to Broadway.
So nice to have a lazy summer Sunday
just for wandering
I love what I do and am incredibly grateful for the positive response
that inspires and keeps it possible to make my art my work!
Feedback like this lets me know I'm going down the right road.
thanks!

I've spent time the last couple days
Helping Joe move,
and it's got me a little blue and intro/retrospective.
Joe ran a drawing class
that I've been going to for 25 years.
It's been a constant in my city
His leaving marks an end to an era.
Woke up to a big puzzle this AM.
My site, it's in Drupal, needed an update.
Mostly these updates go fine,
they don't cause worry
I innocently push the button.
today however,
the update made all the images disapear.
Shocking and not so good with an art site.
I'm proud, 'cause just under 2 hours
of thinking, teeth gnashing, head banging
and it's sorted.
I feel like somekind of goddamn genius,
though I missed yoga class.
